Pre-Staging

Hasoub has implemented a pre-staging methodology that deals with handling service components installation, setup, configuration and testing. The focus is on service components residing in the datacenter. Hasoub use this methodology in all its projects that require pre-staging of service equipment prior to being deployed in the project’s data center.

During this phase, Hasoub creates an internal replica of the sites data center. For the type of projects Hasoub gets involved in, planning is a must. Proper planning saves time, improves resource utilization, and ensures the work is being done with quality.

Once all components are in place in the staging area, configuration of services can start. This part of the pre-staging follows the plan step by step. Tracking progress by comparing it with the plan is conducted on a weekly basis. Any changes from the plan are immediately reflected.

A Regular meeting with stakeholders is held to review the progress and resolve issues. Documentation becomes a significant task to service implementation teams.on a weekly basis. It is given special attention in the project plan. Documentation tasks with time and resources associated with it are clearly listed in the project plan.

Services need to be tested to ensure they are functioning properly prior to relocating to the site’s Datacenter. The main purpose of the staging work is to configure services and ensure their proper operation before being moved to their final location. This step also includes documenting the test procedure and the test results. It also includes rectifying any issues discovered during the test.
